Asp 56101 Stainless Steel Chain Handcuff w/Black Overmolded Polymer

ASP, who bought up the former US police-restraint manufacturer American Handcuff Co., brought out their first new handcuffs model at the end of 2004. This model has some special features. The restraint is made from high strength stainless steel on custom built. Except of the movable bows, all parts are overmolded with ordinance grade polymer to reduce potential injuries. Each cuff has keyholes on both sides for fast access. The double lock is activated via slots by use of the key pin. A colored indicator shows if the double lock is activated or not. To unlock the double lock, the key has to be turned in opening direction, not counter opening direction like at most other handcuffs. The restraint comes with a colored booklet including operating destruction and technical details.
